I got to check out Rochester’s Lilac Festival today for the first time.

It was fun despite the fact that Abbott’s was there without its pineapple pistachio custard. I’m still a little sad about that.

J’ai une grande fascination pour les endroits abandonnés, j’ai découvert ces photos de Detroit quand le livre est sorti et depuis je reviens régulièrement sur ces photos. Comme un truc de l’enfance, l’exploration de lieux abandonnés, mélangé avec une sorte de jubilation nihiliste sur l’écroulement de ce vieux monde.

In general I feel kinda bad for people who don’t live in/haven’t been to Rochester because they haven’t had a garbage plate ever.
